I am interested in perception and how we can challenge the way we see things through the intricate use of materials. I do this by questioning our relationship to the physical matter and our pre-conceived notions of what a material should look or feel like. Holding a Master of Arts in Mixed Media from the Royal College of Art in London, I especially enjoy the challenge of working with glass and creating new parameters for it. The analytical and continually-evolving exploration of this material lies at the base of my sculptural work. I am driven by the urge to create a new context for this material by injecting it in unusual areas and applications and with this extend its common use. With a background in professional ice skating, I have been drawn to ice and snow formations from an early age on. Glass to me represents many similar qualities and allows the viewer to engage in a world of ever-changing reflections and light play. Having exhibited my work internationally, some of these places include the Tate Modern, London, the Tittot Glass Art Museum in Taipei or International Festival of Glass, Sofia. I have further worked on various other collaborative projects. Building a wide range of skills and gaining in-depth experience in interdisciplinary work, some of these projects include work with product design, innovative design engineering, architecture or vehicle design.

Available for commissions and collaborative projects.
